An Australian native fan palm known for retaining a skirt of dead brown fronds hanging from the crown, which usually need arborist removal as the tree will not shed them. A tall, hardy native suited to wetter ground.

Living with it

This is an Australian native and usually worth keeping where it has the room. Good pruning to Australian Standard AS 4373 keeps it healthy and safe. If it has outgrown its spot, we can reduce, lift or remove it properly.
