Weed / invasive

Planted heavily since the mid-19th century and still common, but now regarded as a weed and discouraged. Grows 1 to 2 metres a year and drops heavy fronds and masses of fruit. Its fruit can harm flying foxes and it self-seeds freely. A very common removal request.
